Well I’m nearly done with my second month in work. Things have gone a little bit better this month. With my understanding getting a bit better, but I still feel a bit lost with the bigger picture.
We have a number of checks in place, as you would expect with payroll. The checks sometimes go a bit deeper, because of sox.
I didn’t do this last month as much, but I really want to get my head round the whole situation.
I have a week off next week and will be going up to my dads. This will involve chilling, website manipulation. As we have another website we are putting together – www.ukbingoreviews.co.uk where we will give our opinion on the likes of foxy bingo, gala bingo and also jackpotjoy. I already have a dislike for jackpotjoy, but the bingo seems to be very popular. The thing with playing bingo online, means you can chat, smoke and be able to watch your TV programs; all without the need to leave your home. Why not set up a few pc’s on a small network, so Betty and Alice can pop round and play to. There are plenty of people able to help. Even pc world now offer a service to set your pc up in your home.
3 days left in work and then off for a week. Woohoo. How much work will I have on my return. I’m scared.

I have recently bought a new house and have been decorating it for a while now. All inside is done apart from the box room, so we have now decided that we need to get some new windows. The ones in the property are only single glazed and are not very good.
I know nothing about windows, but I am leaning very quick that double-glazing sales people totally earn their reputation. They are full of crap and tell you one thing and then change their story.
We had a guy come round from Supreme O Glaze. He was a total idiot. I had said I don’t want any cock sure sales rep coming round, so they sent me a cock sure manager. All I wanted was to measure up and give me a price. He was there from 8pm (an hour late) until 10pm. Took him ages to get all his crap out of the car and about 5 mins to take it away when we wouldn’t sign up on the spot.
Somehow he managed to go from over £13,000 down to £9222, which we said was still very high and a lot more than we wanted to pay. He then said he will do us a deal. If we go in the magazine, have before and after pictures done and have a board outside for 2 weeks (was 4 weeks, but changed to 2 weeks) then he would be able to do a deal of £4900. Now I’m not stupid and knew that his original price was full of crap. I asked if the price of £4900 would stand if we called in a weeks time and he said no. The price of £4900 was only if we signed up on the spot. We said no and he was gone in 5 mins. He became very rude and abrupt with us when we said no. Sod him, I would rather pay more and get someone I can trust.
While he was there he also told us he was Welsh and also he was Irish (never told us he was a cock). He was on moment on commission and then next he was on salary and dealt with business normally, but he wanted to help us out. Oh he was also a manager. The truth is I don’t think he knew what he was.
My advice is. Never even ask Supreme O Glaze round for even a quote.

Well what a weekend to choose for a house warming party. The weather was hot and the drink was flowing. When Carly asked earlier in the week about having a house warming party, I wasn’t so sure. There was the cost and then the thought of people with drink don’t mix well with a newly decorated house, espcialy with new carpet; a light carpet at that. But I am happy to say all went well, apart from some stupid mates that were running round the streets with their knobs hanging out. Total pricks if you ask me.. Still the party out the back was good and Carlys dad did a fantastic job of cooking all the food on the bbq.
I met a few of Carlys friends that I haven’t met b4. Family that we haven’t seen for a while. All in all it was a good party and people seemed to enjoy themselvs.

Well since my last update I have played a little poker. I have decided to stay away from cash tables, as I normally play well, get a few $’s up and then end up throwing it away. Sit & go games are ok, but I normally win a few then lose quite a few in a row. The cards just don’t seem to be hitting for me. I did win a multi table tournament though. $2 buy-in and won a few cents shy of $50. I played my best ever game, just chipping away at players and hit the nuts a couple of times.
Since my win I have stayed away a bit. Not intentional though. Work has been busy and with the new house I have had a few mates round in the evenings and not been in the mood to play. I prefer to play late at night when I am on my own and can listen to some music.
Never mind I have a week off at the end of august and I will be playing a bit of poker. I might even try out a higher stakes game or 2. When I say higher I mean about a $5 or $10 if being brave. Also a few more mtt’s are in order.
I had a go on mansion poker the other day though and it was hard going. My progress was not helped by the software crashing all the time. I might cash out of PKR and have a go on a few other sites. Pokerstars.com seems a really popular site. Only thing is they don’t offer affiliate programs. Betfred isn’t one I want to play on for a while. VC poker seems like a good one though along with Bodog.

I am just on my way home and had a thought. People believe in a higher existence (who ever or what ever that is) because they don’t want to accept responsibility that they really have the control. This also blows my long standing belief though of what ever happens, happens for a reason.
So what does anyone think?
People are always asking for a sign or proof that the higher being exists. 2007 years (a.c.) and were killing the planet.
I don’t think this is all down to our current actions. We have been digging out and burning fossil fuels for a many a year. With the petrol engine being a late addition (in the big scheme of things).
Also quite a few years back, didn’t we have a thing called the ice age? Well back then, you could have walked to many parts of Europe, due to the seas being frozen over. So in reality the earth has been getting warmer for a long time and no overnight bandwagon company is going to solve it. In fact some are probably doing more damage with all their marketing and gimmicks.
Who knows, who wants to know?
I think if we had answers to many of life’s big questions, we would be to scared to exist. …
