Poker plan 2009

During 2008 I had a very good year.  Mainly started in April and managed to get my bankroll up to about £1200 from starting on about £50.  Which was mainly down to my £730 win in a live game back in June time.

Most of this money was withdrawn and used on a number of purchases, new laptop, xbox, a number of games for the xbox (including Guitar Hero World Tour).  I find playing on the xbox a good way to relax when things are not going my way at the tables.

I have decided to start my bankroll again in 2009 and this time start with £100 and withdraw the rest of the money.  I will be sticking to a few main sites that I am going to also focus on promoting.

1- Nasty Duck – www.nastyduck.co.uk

2 – PKR – www.pkrreview.co.uk

3 – VC Poker – www.vcpokerreview.co.uk

4 – PokerStars – www.pokerstarsreview.co.uk

The reason I have chosen the above sites as my main places to play is the following reasons.

Nasty Duck is a fantastic site and offer freeroll games exclusive to ND players and a number of bounty games that I find fun to play and can be sometimes easy money.

PKR – I lke the play and friendly chat that you get on this site and they types of games on offer

VC Poker – I use this mainly to try out new tactics and play.  With games starting from as little as $0.10, you can afford to play some silly hands and try things out.  I have been playing recenlty on a low starting balance of £0.70 (it’s what I found I had left) and I have had it up as high as £5.  Beside this you can enter a number of games from VC points that you can build up.

PKR phase game update

Ok I finally played in the phase game level 3 and I hit an unlucky hand and fell out.  I was going to have another go, but decided against it.  I am putting together my poker plan for 2009 and sticking to a designated number of sites.
