I’ve been playing poker as a hobby for a few years now and made a nice few £’s along the way.
however I have decided to step up a gear and try to qualify for more games online in order to play in some live tournaments.
I love playing in low stakes and will continue to do so. instead of playing in sit and go games though, I’ll be playing in qualifiers for bigger games.
at the same time I’ll still be playing in the low games to try out different tactics.
to find out more about stratagies and how to play the great game of poker, head on over to UK poker review and see what help you can find

I’ve not been playing a lot of poker recently. I started off with my money all over the place, but even though I have been winning I haven’t really been able to move up a level as my rules don’t allow me to.
I have decided now to put all my eggs in one basket. This way I can keep track of my money easier and move up a level when needed.
The other reason is that I am able to get a % rakeback from pkr to help keep my funds up as I increase my level. See PKR Review for more info on getting rake back.
I’m now nearly up to $200 and in a comanding lead.
I’m still sticking to double up games and taking my time to play. Mainly I’m mixing between $1 and $5 games depending on how my form is going. If I lose a few games in a row I’ll drop down, then move up when I win 3 on the trot. I’m not sure this is the right thing to do as I’m staying about the same level.
Also if you are playing regular then look at maybe a reload bonus. Then when you rake through an amount you can earn extra.
I have also been updating UK Poker Review now with a newsletter option and also an updated freeroll section.

I have been a bit slow with the old challenge. Mainly I have been playing on Nasty Duck in the champions games. I did get a nice healthy lead, but not being able to play the Tuesday game has meant that this week I lost the lead by 1 point. Not massive, but hey every point counts.
Apart from the 1 sunday game each week I have not been playing much poker. The main reason for this is that we have been working on updating our poker forum UK Poker Talk and also our Poker review site www.ukpokerreview.co.uk
We have had a fantasic uptake on the Everest offer of $1000 freeroll. Vist the page for minimum Deposit Poker to find out more.
