Wet day Geocache hunting

It’s been 2 weeks since my last day geocache hunting. But today Dubzie86 and myself set off to find some more in the local area.

After picking up Dubzie86, we had a quick find just up the road. It was an urban one and I kept look out, while Dubzie86 grabbed the cache and logged the find.

We then headed off to the local country park where there was a large number of dog walkers. (note to self: want to buy a dog). The sky was bright and we headed off to the site of the first cache.

After a few finds of some nice cache’s, the sky became very over cast and the rain came down. Not only that, but it became very windy and we got soaked. However, we decided to carry on and found some more caches.

By the time we finished finding the caches in the country park, we had dried off a bit and the sun was back out. So we decided to head over to another area close by.

Total caches today was about 11. I picked up a trackable. Pics below from the day. So apart from getting very wet today, we had a very good day.
Oh, there was a very funny moment today. When we arrived at a cache site, we picked up the cache and headed for some shelter (the rain was coming down hard). But as we headed to under a tree behind a big trunk, we could hear a funny noise. It totally spooked us out, but on opening the cache, it was some kids toy that was being set off by the motion.
